Car looks clean. Not too sure about 17" wheels tho. 16" looks nicer in my opinion. But it's a nice looking car and the bra looks cool.
I thought the same thing... I really love the 16's on it now

cheers. Does the dome fit right into the headlining without modification? I've found a supplier on Ebay but for the light and adapter it's £60! No. It's a bi larger. You need the metal frame for the headlining to get it "to stick"... But with the frame it's very easy to mark where you hav...

love it! Did you need to modify the wiring for the dome light? I think the RX wheels look really good, much better than the first ones.... I actually bought it as a kit with an adaptor to put between the original wiring and the light. And then I had to run a wire down to the lightswitch to light up...

Replaced the bulb when i first got the car - no joy. The dash 'boot open' light works perfectly. Microswitch - replaced. Need a multimeter to see if any power is reaching the terminals, if not god knows how the cables have been damaged. A common fault is that the break in the rubber tube from the b...

Hi. Thought it was time for me to share a little bit more about the old GTI :) I've had i for a little more than 2 problemfree years (thank god, knock on wood and all that stuff  ) I'll try to get it all up to speed with what I have done to it so far. Here is a few shots of the car as I bought...

What about the light on the dash when the boot is open... Does that work?
And have you checked the wires and connections to the bulb? Or the bulb it self

I know this has been covered a thousand times on here but can i get a quick refresh on replacing said item? I have the trim off and can see the lock mechanism behind the boot handle, where exactly is the light microswitch and do i have to take out the mechanism to replace it? Thanks, Dan It's only ...
