Re: 60/40 suspension kit on 16" on a 6n2??

(came with the wheels) so I was thinking of putting som 195/40-16's on like you have. There is close to an inch i di...

Thanks for the word up Alan
I'm definately getting me a "H&R Cup KIT 60/40"
Is it right to asume that the wheels are 7X16" ET35? But what size tires are you running on them?

Re: 6N2 GTI Headlight range problem!!! HELP!
Did you get the part off VW? they have just qouted me £131 for the the height sensor, which i my mind is totally ridiculous, it's 2 pieces of mental linking to a swtich not a lump of solid gold  I just got my parts the other day. Ordered the height sensor plus everything around it (Brackets, ...

Re: what does this part do?
Yeah. It's the linkage between the headlight range sensor and the rear axle... Without this the headlight's will either shine to high or to low, depending on how the sensorarm is possitioned... I have just removed mine along with the range sensor because the arm had snapped in the balljonit on the a...

Re: 6N2 GTI Headlight range problem!!! HELP!
I pulled the range sensor off today and found that it had shorted out... So on with a new one and the linkage for the rear axle. and hopefully that'll be that.

Re: Headlight cover removal
It kan be a bit difficult I will give you that. You can start by removing the rubber cover behind he xenon headlight and then the plug on the back of the D2S xenon bulb. it rotates about 45 degrees to one side and the it's loose... Piece of cake. Then there is 3 philipshead screws. 1 just about cent...

Re: 6N2 GTI Headlight range problem!!! HELP!
Now I have fiddled with it today and found that the bracket between the leveling sensor and the rear axle was broken in the joint closest to the axle. Now I removed the bracket and moved the arm on the leveling sensor all the way up. But now I can hear that the leveling motors are making small adust...

6N2 GTI Headlight range problem!!! SOLVED!!!
Hi. I Have a 6N2 GTi. I noticed a few weeks ago that my left headlight was shining way too low. I then went to a mate of mine that has VAGcom. The problem is now that VAGcom can't find the xenon headlight's or the automatic range control. So I have no way of correcting the range motors, where one is...

wide wheels and Eibach springs. Will it work?
I've been thinking of putting som 8x15" Schmidt Modernline rims with 195/45-15 wheels on my GTI... But then it wouldn't look right without lowering the car. I would if possible like to avoid coilovers. So after looking at the thread about Eibach springs on GTI's I got to thinking if it would be...
