When I did this on my Golf I bought the blank (keyholeless) covers from a rear door of a 5 door car, along with the metal blanking barrel and a little titanium disk thing to cover the hole inside. Is this exactly the same process with the 9N? Just checking before I call the dealer and try and expla...

forgot to mention there is a large nut that secures the base to the roof. you will need pliers to remove it.

you don't have to remove the complete headliner, just the plastic piece at the very back. you can then pull the headliner downwards and reach the antenna base. make sure you wear a long sleeve top or your arms will itch for days because of the headliner material :wink:
