From what I understand mate it's huge work and much easier and cheaper to order from the factory.

You have to obviously buy the new part, new loom, re program the ECU, I think you have to add a couple of sensors etc...

I don't know too much about it, but I'd say it is 'do-able' for a lot of ££ ...

I was still unsure as to how this would work or how I could get remote locking / unlocking done with an official flick out VW key etc... If anyone can offer any more information on how I would do this then it would be GREATLY appreciated.
