The ride quality is superb, like I said, you can really feel the difference in road handling. So you dont have standard shocks?

Yup, standard shocks on my 9n, just changed the springs. If anything, they perform better with the standard shocks! If you want a sporty feel, get these Eibachs, any other make will sag really quickly. Eibachs are a stiff as anything!

I've had Eibach 30mm springs on for over a year now. I'm really impressed with these springs. They still perform as new. With them on, you get a proper sporty feel on the road. You feel every bump but the car feels more stable and cornering is a breeze. Also, when you pull away from standstill and ...

Hear hear, I totally agree, although we're always moaning about problems with our 9Ns, I believe they're nothing compared to alot of other superminis..... even compared to some saloons!!!
Is it time to restore our faith in our trustworthy Polos??

Yes, my passenger side seat belt lock used to rattle against the trim all the time. So annoying! so i just wedged a piece of blue tack in the gap and that sorted that!
As for the smoked lights, Venommotorsport.com do them at a reasonable price.

Picked up my 9N yesterday! And they managed to cure the rattle! Haven't a clue how they did it but I'm guessing foam was involved as there was a lot offcuttings on the car floor when I picked it up! :P
Just waiting for the next problem now.....

Rattle/Creak

Hi Y'all. My 9N is going in on Thursday to have the dash completely removed. Went to VW last week and the driver took it for a spin whilst I sat in the passenger seat. You could hear all sorts. He said the clips holding the dash to chassis were lose. Its gonna take a whole day. Watch this space ...

Hmm, took my 9N to the VW service today. The driver took it for a spin, told me t'will be a big job as the entire dash had to be removed. Turns out the clips that attach to the metal frame under the dash may have come loose.
