sanjay there is a faq on the mk5 roof rails and there plastic mate only need to chop a small bit from the inside off and your done and you can have a mk5 windscreen fitted aswell making them flush

mate if you get 50 profile tyre your speedo will be slightly higher when reading 70 if you have 60 profile tyre you will be way over the limit even in a 30 zone there are 45 profile on ebay all the time just get a cheap set of falkens 512 as they are grippy when dry and standard when raining and ...

yeah go to a breakers and take the locking mech and stuff out of a cl or one with central locking and use the boot lock as mine has central locking in th boot

u need to take the front bumper off to get to the clips mate or put the car on axel stands but i would take the bumpers off personally
