hiya guys wondered if anyone could help.

basically the car steers to the left slightly when i let go of wheel..i suppose thats just the tracking right?

under heavy braking from speed the steering wheel judders...would that be caused by the tracking or is there summat else at fault?

how much for the bolts and air box?

i can get the extension pipes and filter myself.
The cost of the whole kit hurts my pocket.

yea my 1ltr saloon has a 5spd gearbox, optional extra i belive.

that fifth gear does come in handy on the motorway

its a hard life being a bloke aint it guys

i thought i would never find a car i liked...they were either too far away or an oil change away from the scrappy. after months of looking for a gt i found a near mint 1043 mk3 saloon and although it wasn't what i was looking for, the condition of it meant i had to have it. keep looking...don't buy ...

i was thinking about getting a woman until i read that lot.....makes me feel happy to be single now

thanx for the info karl, are you attending the midlands meet on sunday? as i wouldn't mind taking a look at ur bumpers as they look mint in the pics. the saloon rear bumper is longer down the sides of the car to allow for the boot (if u get what i mean) so i dont think i would be able to get afterma...

yea thats what i thought too, atleast i can sort the front end out.
I bet i will be struggling with the bumper skirts too on the rear.

How much did it cost you for the bumpers to be sprayed m8?

I want mine doing too but its metalic so you can bet it bumps the price up a bit.

does anyone know if you can get different rear lights for the mk3 saloon?
ie:- smoked clear or just different.

i havent really looked yet but i wondered if the mk1 golf lights were the same?

ive just become the owner of a vgc 92 classic so if i can find my way there i will be coming along to meet you guys....as long as u don't laugh at my bog standard 1ltr shopping trolley

m8's girlfriend had an N reg 1.1, she got rid in the end due to it being a money pit.
after 2 ecu's and numerous broken engine parts the car drank petrol like there was no tomorrow and ran really bad.

May have just been her car but it put me off ever owning one.
