Thanks for the reply, thinking it might be worth a go myself then...
I'm assuming that the bolts are underneath the trim in the tailgate? Is it just a case of pulling it off once the bolts are undone, or is there a special way of getting it off without killing the spoiler and/or the paint work?

Mats still available. They are 3 door and hardly used, only the red trim shows ever so slight signs of use - but that's just me being picky! So still as thick as they would have been new, no thin patches or holes etc.

Re: BMC CDA / 6n2 GTi Mats / 6n2 VW Badge / 6n2 Wing Mirror
I saw a few sets go for well over this on eBay, so I just assumed that was what they were worth. Think it costs around £60 for companies to make them up and I know some people, like myself, like having original VW parts. But, if this is too much then some one can make me an offer, worst I can say is ...

BMC CDA / 6n2 GTi Mats / 6n2 VW Badge / 6n2 Wing Mirror
Few pits a pieces for sale as I have replaced my 6n2 GTi with a 9n3 GTi :) Hopefully the money from these bits can buy some new toys for my new polo!

Head Unit Problem
I've put this in the ICE section, but thought you may be able to help here too.
I have a double din (RCD 200 I think) head-unit in my polo GTi that has developed a few problems and needs to come out, but is stuck in my dashboard! I have a set of the removal keys and 3 of the corners release but the ...

Re: Tom's GTi
Thanks! The red stripe (on the latest pics) is actually tape, so you just cut it too length and stick it on. Think its called 'style stripe' you can get it from Halfords and only costs a few quid

Re: Tom's GTi
Hi Rich!
I got the grab handles direct from my local VW dealer. They come apart in a few pieces, so you only need to buy the bits you need. Think it costs around £20 a side for all of it. Here are some part numbers (stolen from the common parts thread)

Re: Godderz23 6n2 GTi
This Polo is awesome, has to be one of my favorites! I definitely need some lessons on how to wash my car after seeing this.
Also, I am still loving the Ronal wheels, think I might just have to get me a set...

Re: Tom's GTi
Yea cleaning with a bucket does my head in! Back home now though, so I have a hose pipe now, which speeds things up a lot :)
Was thinking of selling up over the last few weeks as I've finished uni now, but decided I can't afford what I want yet so the Polo is staying for now. So I have decided to ...
