Yep mine was one of the rings but the bloody bolt which holds the matrix part is was a pain in the arse to remove so we by-passed that instead of doing the dash out option lol

1.9TDI Coolant leak

Hi guys,

Got a coolant leak coming from back of the engine, had a nose about and can see the pink coolant near the back...

Between the two pipes in that hole you can see the coolant, would it be the pipes?
Car was say idle and noticed it when I got out the car.

tempted to get a full set all around for my 1.9 tdi, comes to 117 for brakes, pads (bremos) and fluid from ECP/CP4L

There was a bolt missing at the top of the wing on the drivers side so not sure if water was getting in there, as I had replaced the wings in the summer due to rust on arches. I had to remove the two bung things under the carpet behind the drivers seat to release the damn water, although there is tw...

what other places are there to check?

I have noticed the carpet is wet in the back aswell on the drivers side so maybe water coming in from the back? I have checked my boot and its bone dry :? :?

Damn this rain, i cleaned out the drivers side but still abit damp now after the rain. Will have to check it all when it isnt dark 24/7!! :evil:
