Ahh haaa I think I may have found the fault......................... several dirty earth points both on the engine and on the Chassis so am going to stripp all the relevant bits down and clean them up then refit and try her out. Hopefully this may cure the problem and we can get on with the rest of ...

Who cares if you have a bad neck get a claim in as it may just bug you for the rest of your life. From what I can remember University was a long and complicated affair, are you going to give up Uni ?
Stick with it friend and I hope the Polo survives the insurance assesor.

Hi, has anyone ever come across a problem that is like having a flat battery when the car is at normal working temperature, but as soon as it has cooled off, ( 30 mins or so) it will start again like there has never been a fault ? Looking good Sheri ! Although I have had my licence for some time, (20+ years :oops: ) I am new to Polo's and believe it or not Modding........ Once I have worked out how to upload pics I will add some of mine.

AWESOME.......LOVE IT...........COOL. It is all personal preference and you are right about the Iron Cross aswell, it is a symbol of bravery and honour and is in the right place on the bonnet of a Polo. Tim has some really awesome posts on here and is the kind of guy who is always willing to help so...

Love the styling but personally anything above 15" rims is to big for a polo. You are better off having 15" rims and slamming your ride to the floor. Its all personal taste at the end of the day and I dare say once I start my project people will disagree with certain styling choices I make...

Wish I had seen this prior to buying my MK4. No handbrake, clutch pedal sloppy, oil filthy etc etc etc but then I only paid £150 for her with MOT and 15" rims. She is good generally but needs some TLC. I will post b4 and after pictures once I have time
