1400 16v box is a better box to be using, perfect ratios suited to the track, you only need a max of 120-130mph for track.

but sorry ive just sold my LSD'd 16v box. Still easy to come by.

is it hard 2 fit the g40 engine into the coupe s and what else do you need?

Well the engine goes straight in, so does the charger, no need for cutting the slam panel. The main issue is the intercooler, being which one to use. Mk2 G40 ones are rocking horse s**t to get hold of one. We used a mk3 ...

Drop in a 1600 16v out of the polo gti, nice and easy 125bhp straight off and revvy. Goes straight in and can use a 085 gearbox. Put throttle bodies on it! 8) Perhaps sum complete 40mm Jenvey ones for £400? Run on megasquirt, nice and cheap and heady power. That or carbs, alot of rally cars ...

AW Tracksport or Dubshack both are fully capable of doing it (i think Dubshack quoted my mate £2500-3000 for a conversion).

Thanks :D

Taken some work, but its getting there. Had it all apart yesterday, fixed the wonky front bumper, it was just the bumper cross member twisted.

We took it all off, and Jibber (my missus) rubbed down all any surface rust marks from the welds and also general rust bubbles at the ...

I was breaking my G40 Cup Race car, my missus saw the exhaust (aswell as the rollcage) and wanted it.

With the G, it has a nice purr, and its a good noise. Its a custom built one, single rear silencer, no middle silencer, straight thru, no baffles.

138& on 175/50/13 should be fine depend on your ET. My girlfriend runs 13*7 ET5 on her RG11 wheels (when they are back form the refurbers) and the tread sticks out the front on her Mk2 by an inch! But at the rear, they sit perfect, just legal. Classics on an ET20 should be fine!

Haven't got any ...
