Ouch! 6 - wire - brown/red #2 - wire - red #7 - wire- brown/green #3 - wire- red/green On the above the brown/ wire is the negative speaker terminal If you have no sound after wiring 6/2 to one side and 7/3 to the other, you may want to look to see if someone has kindly played with the door speakers...

Re: 5W 30 Oil in a 94 1.0 Bready
5W30 in an older engine such as this can cause a variety of issues as its too thin such as piston blow by, seepage via the valve stem seals etc.
10W40 is best, 5W40 if fully synth is your flavour, but semi synthetic is more than adequate

Re: Radio installation Help??
Oh no, you've made a bit of a mess there!! You need a quad lock to ISO adapter loom - what you've done splitting the plugs won't help you at all https://www.halfords.com/technology/car-audio/stereo-fittings/volkswagen-audi%2Fseat%2Fskoda-iso-harness-adaptor---ct20vw02-581915.html This will sort your...

Totally get you. A decent auto electrician will be able to do it with the harness no trouble

Re: VCDS clone - file .rod not found with almost all versions
These copy cables are often junk quality too and can die after a single connection. As RUM says, genuine is best
Even a VCDS lite cable and license is not that expensive.

Re: After market Radio upgrade
Yup thats the same harness, you just wouldn't use the aerial bit
You'd need a multimeter, then you'd need to splice the cables. How comfortable are you with car electrics?
The first link should be plug and play

Re: After market Radio upgrade
So the RCN210 is an older style ISO plug, and your 08 polo has a quad lock connector No major beef however it will require some electrical knowledge to fit as you'll need to fit an adapter, but then you can have issues around the illumination The easy option is to pick up one of these https://www.eb...

You can order these from your local VW dealer. You'll need details from ETKA to get the plug part numbers and associated pins however
Ciclo on here may be able to assist you

Re: Buying 1.4 tdi from 2004 please what to check for
I had a 2006 1.4 TDI and chucked 50k miles on it
Burned hardly any oil and still returned over 50mpg - great little car
You just want to make sure its been looked after, so service history, cambelt, diesel filter etc.
