Just a quick question... Would this make any difference to the GTi? The side lights and main beem seem poor compared to the xenon headlights output. Also which bulbs would i need? LED sidelights and Xenon filled H1 bulbs would make a difference to the output - the sidelights in general LED are W5W ...

Thanks dude the LED sidelights are sweet - very blue though, but they work a treat with PowerBlue bulbs :D

I have a brand new still sealed set of Philips BlueVision W5W Sidelights Bulbs for sale if anyone is interested? Probs sell for £10 inc postage. Reply on this thread if interested, and we can sort it from there

You Need :

2x H7 for Foglights
2x H7 for Dipped Beam
2x 501 or W5W bulbs for sidelights (they are the same bulb just different codes)
2x H1 for High Beam

As for new sidelights, i strongly suggest LED ones from ultraleds.comThe philips bluevision sidelights are pretty poor, and not much different from standards. Here are some proper night shots of my new sidelights. These are still with the factory halogens (although for some reason they are really bright??). I got those aswell U501WHP2+ but they don't have a metal casing, they look just like yours when on.
