hey! :)

this is only a suggestion, but it might suggest that your temp sensor is up the creek - might think its hot then cold hot then cold etcetc. Probs worth gettin a VW garage to run some diagnostics,

Alex.

Finally got them out!

UPDATE....

Ooooh - just went out in the dark and fiddled with the headlights (yes, i know i am crazy)

After about 5 mins of fiddling i got the grip and managed to yank them out, but the drivers side one was so tight it was unbelievable!

Cheers for the pointers guys and gals!

Keep us posted on what the problem was!

The best way to get sidelights out- PHOTOS on PAGE 3 :D:D!!!

Hi all. After finding out on here what the right bulb types are for my 2000 W reg 6n2 Polo (in the pic :D), i now cant work out how to get the old sidelight bulbs out of the headlight itself. I have managed to get the full beam and dipped beam out with no problem but the sidelights just wont come ou...

As for the rear passengers, ive witnessed that problem before - its something to do with more weight on the suspension coils which puts more pressure on the brakes (or something!). It was a fair while back so i cant...

Stiff boot hinges/pistons

Hi all. Great site btw - full of really good info! keep it up :D Anyways, my W reg 6n2 polo just came back from having the rear lock and barrel replaced as the mechanism had gone to pot, and i have now discovered that the boot pistons/hinges dont work very well anymore. When you go to open the boot,...
