Re: Parts/donor needed

Fuel cut off has probably occurred. You may need it resetting with VCDS

Someone like Charles Trent or Silverlake may be able to assist with a set of used parts.

Re: Tyre rating V or Y?

You need to fit what the tyre rating label inside the fuel cap/drivers door opening says. Anything else can give your insurance a reason to be void. I have seen people fit the wrong speed rating, and their claims be invalidated.

Re: How to install RClick Remote Central Locking Kits

Yes that’s plug and play

You are best to move your transponder from your existing key into the new flip key. These transponders aren’t that easy to source any more

Re: Multiple misfires - covered by warranty?

It should be covered by the warranty, providing you havent got spark plugs worn out etc. Is it the 1.4TSI or the 1.8T block you have?

Re: Noisy cam phasers on startup (1.8TSi 6C GTi)

Sadly a lot of these parts departments are very unhelpful at most of the main dealers. It’s incredibly frustrating!

H isn’t compatible. Not sure who gave you that info

I pulled this straight out the parts system and also double checked it with TPS when I was in there earlier

G is available next day 👍🏻
