Re: 110 TSI R Linepotential purchase
Another option is the 4 cyl 1.2 TSi R-Line. OK, its 'only' 90ps, but it pulls nicely at low revs and is extremely smooth and quiet.

Re: Windscreen Mould
I've seen that on one of my VWs before. Not an issue as long as it stays confined to the edge.

Re: Blue gt manual to auto swap
Treat DSG with respect. Can be very expensive if they go wrong. I had a Golf DSG for 3 years, but luckily no issues (apart from refusal to provide traction in either 1st or reverse once when on gravel).

Re: New Polo Blue GT
Hi and welcome. I'm fairly new here too... I'm also biased when it comes to best colour !! I'll have to investigate whether Car Play can be applied to my ICE system. First service in a couple of weeks, so I will check with the dealer. I've had my paintwork detailed to remove all swirls and marring, ...

Re: So...This just happened :/
Amazed by that paintless repair. I'd have thought that the metal would have stretched when first damaged preventing a perfect repair.

Re: Led rear light bulbs
Looking at your photos I'm sure mine is a different brand to yours, and might have a different ballast. Don't know whether HIDS Direct have sufficient info to advise resistances on the different types of LED they import to help in your choice. You're welcome to try my spare if you're nearby (Darling...

Re: Led rear light bulbs
Perhaps one of the LED bulbs is faulty. Have you tried the one which works in the other side to see if one rear light assembly is causing the error code? Alternatively, the ballast of the 2 LEDs combined may not be enough to prevent the error (whereas one LED plus one filament bulb provide just enou...

How about a photo showing the taillight tint Is it a pre-cut plastic film specific to the Polo?

Re: Jack slipped
Can't see how chipsaway are going to sort that damage.
Another option is to obtain/paint/install R-Line/GTI extended sills
Did the same when I damaged the sill on a Golf many years ago. Cheaper than a repair at the bodyshop

Re: LED reversing light
Installed the LED today. You need small hands !! Had to first undo a large nylon screw to release the tail-light assembly (access through small hatch in the boot lining), then slide a small red shield back on the connector block which allows the, then accessible, connector block release tab to be sq...

Re: LED reversing light
Looks same design as what I've ordered. I'm getting the 60W equivalent version. So should be brighter.
