So its now listed in the For Sale area: click me! Cheers Mini Cooper news: its still very quick and a lot of fun. I've started looking at p...

Re: Tonights question. Lights still on warning.

Mine does the same as yours by the way - no buzzer when the lights are left on and the door is opened. Flattened my battery twice before now because I've forgotten to switch the lights off! If you find out the cause I'd be grateful if you can let us know what it is... its one of those things ...

Pair of 6N2 rear (de-locked) door handles

I have a pair of rear 6N2 door handles for sale, removed from my GTi. They've been on the car for about 3-4 years and were originally bought from TPS and painted by my local VW bodyshop in Diamond Black pearl to match the car. They are in really good condition but have got a couple of minor chips in...

Re: Si_GTi's progress thread. Status: FOR SALE very very soo

Not sure what the power output is, but will get the car on a rolling road once she is in my hands. Standard car is 163bhp + DaveF airbox + exhaust + Alta Performance 15% 2.0 pulley = ???bhp! Alta's website says "With a 15% pulley the rise in boost pressure will increase 15to 20 horse power. No ...

Re: Si_GTi's progress thread. Status: Winter wheels are back

Not a beemer my friend! I might as well tell all... Its an R53 Mini Cooper S with a cat-back blueflame exhaust, DaveF airbox and Alta Performance 15% pulley kit. I wanted a mk5 Golf GTI really but this is half the price and three times as much fun, its a real hoot to drive! Pick it up in about 10 da...

Re: 2011 Polo GTi plans...

Plans for 2011 are pretty low key but something like this would be good: Tidy up bodywork (stone chips on leading edge of roof etc) Get headlights detailed - to remove the UV fade 6000K headlight bulbs would be nice Fit a set of BBS RX2s I really just want to focus on the little things and bring the...

Re: Pressed plates...

A friend of mine got me some sticky foam pads that they use at his workplace (Skoda garage). They are truly amazing! Super sticky, the 'plates are going nowhere 8)

I used four on each 'plate - might be why they are stuck on so good?
