sorry to jump in, but how do you remove the strips that are on the rear bumper? the curved pieces on either side thats a mk5 btw, just to let u know, the sides on the mk5 have holes and clips on the bump strips if they are removed. of course mk4 is ok :) yep i know it's a mk5, just thought id ask o...

Sounds great James, let me know what you find out. From the Golf mods i've seen, it's just been the stalk, so if their is a factory part that looks 'right' and fits pefect as a replacment, this is looking go for our model of Polo 8) It's just the wiring that confuses me slightly, the stalk replaceme...

Thanks m8 Thing is I don't wish to have it running off an alarm at this stage, I know that could be the best route etc... (car has no alarm, has coded key immobiliser) but the kit I have just converts the key lock into remote with a nice small button for your keyring Im taking the door card off tomo...
