Re: Question regarding RCD330 replacement for MIB2 unit

the ability to reset the tyre pressure monitoring is one the you normally lose. there may be a way around it but don't know there are lots of the car controls you might lose aswell depending on what factory options you have. (auto lights, reversing camera, auto wipers, folding mirrors etc.) i would ...

Re: Question regarding RCD330 replacement for MIB2 unit

the 6c is not the same as the 6r.

the main unit in a 6c is in the glove box and the screen is just a screen.

you would have to pull the wiring from the glovebox to the dash.

you may loose a lot of functionality using a rcd330 in a 6c.

Re: Has anyone found auto headlights on 6c

i'm yet to see one that does fit into the dash correctly (bought from various sources amazon, ebay, aliexpress )

it seems they use the housing from a different car that sort of fits the polo but doesn't line up.

Re: Rear caliper

when was the last time the brake fluid was changed? i had the exact same problem on my 9n3 due to not changing the fluid often enough.

i think it's 3 years after manufacture then every 2 years

Re: Switchable Remap using 'Sport' button in Polo GTI 6c

i've got switchable maps on my gti using the accelerator and brake pedals but that is a stage 3 variations (300bhp minimum lol)

but you need to stop the car to change it.

Are these the right ones for the 6C? The rear axle weight says up to 840kg.

Re: Lowering Springs GTI 6C

i have the eibach springs fitted to my 6c gti and i'd highly recommend them as a subtle drop with adverse affect on the ride. £200 is overpriced for them https://www.demon-tweeks.com/uk/eibach-pro-kit-lowering-spring-kit-eibe10-85-024-02-22/ is a much more reasonable price. the headlights auto adjus...

Re: Help with a mib2 unit repair needed!

what is the part number of the unit you have ? i really think you are going to spend weeks trying to find a part just to lead to dead ends or over priced/complicated solutions second hand units can be fitted to cars no problem using legit means and you can even get fully unlocked cracked units that ...

Re: Original infotainment upgrade

3Q0035842B or C is the app connect unit.

since they have been cracked the price of them has gone up (i paid £40 about 2 years ago) but now they are £100+ normally.

it's about £100 to get a unit unlocked and all the features unlocked (sport hmi, app connect and voice control iirc)

Re: Original infotainment upgrade

you would be better off getting an unlocked unit from a retrofit place then it would just be a case of swapping over both the glovebox unit and screen.

the vw nav is supposed to be not that good so i don't know if it's worth paying the extra rather than a app-connect unit
