Yes colour wise and location wise it could make sense, however these DF and D+ wires usually go directly to the alternator and not to a coupling station.
But if you see such a broken wire, always repair it anyway.

What you describe often happens with a cloned vcds that is updated to a newer software version. But try disabling TPMS in the abs long coding and cycle ignition. Then re-enable it (put back original coding)

disable tpms in the long coding of the abs controller and enable it again. it will solve the error.
do you have a genuinie vcds system or a clone?

You'll probably have a clutch contact anyway to disable cruise control, but the only way to verify is to check the clutch slave cylinder in the engine bay and above the pedal.
The cars with start stop require the 5-pin sensor on the slave cylinder.

I have a single USB port only but wiring is the same. CNK did it a while ago. That's where I took the wiring from.

I connected mine like this:
1 +15
2 GND
3 lighting
4 +30
