Its a nifty kit ill give you that . Ive got the odd rattle in mine, actually saying that its stopped since I upgraded my BETA to a GAMMA :P

The iPod kit is something you can actually fit yourself lol.

I found that out after I spent £150 getting mine fitted, as VAG Parts sell it for 80 quid - thats almost double its value to fit it!

Well, in mine it was easy - im not sure as for the GTI due to less space in the engine, but I shouldn't think its much different. You take off the black plastic case on the back of the headlight, then just unclip the bulb (its the one above the sidelights :P) Theres like a metal wire clip that holds...

Philips blue vision are xenon filled bulbs with a blue tint, that makes them look like Xenon HID - thats why he said it. The H7 is the dipped beams, but in the GTI, they are Xenon HID as standard :P :P Xenon bulbs are available in H1, H4 and H7. Ive got dipped and main beam in mine with xenon bulbs,...

hehe all good :) Its all comparable to the colour of your headlights to be honest. Mine are bright xenon white, so xenon LED sidelights look awesome with them. Original halogens on the other hand look good with phillips bluevision ones for example :P

ive got the same problem, and mould, its gross. i might bung mine in a bucket of soapy water this wk end, if i do...i'll let ya'l know how it goes, alternatively, i just change dmy headlights with halogens and the difference is AMAZIN!! the side lights look so dull and yellow in comparison, myt jus...
