Re: Can I have some advice please

I don’t think it was as big a put down as you have made it to be. I understand that this is quite a big deal to you but he may think that the DSG boxes in the new Polos work differently from all other DSG boxes... in which case he is wrong as you have aptly pointed out in various posts.

Re: Retrofit ESP Button

Oh! Edit:- I do know that once I got to trust the ESP in my wife's old 2002 Polo, it worked quite well, as long as you remained alert to the fact that it switched off frequently to in theory let the brakes cool back down, then switched back on again which could catch you off guard if you had feathe...

Re: My New POLO GT

I’m not to have any issues with the exhaust. I think the remap and throttle box may add a touch but then next year when I come to renew I’ll be looking for modified car insurance as the more you do to them the cheaper it seems to be haha

Forge do an intake for the 1.4tsi engine and it’s listed under the golf mk7 I think.

Re: Hello all, potential new polo owner here

I think I could of thought of ten things for any car that could wrong. That list could of been summed up easier by saying that there is a possibility that ANYTHING can go wrong with ANY car lol. As long as on the extended test drive you give it a good going over and drive through a few different sce...

Re: Hello all, potential new polo owner here

Hi Lee and welcome to the forum. I’ve got a 14 plate BGT and I think I’m around 53k in so far and it’s been a fantastic car. I’ve done well over a thousand miles in 1 week and loved every mile. I’ve had one problem which was under warranty and that was the rear windscreen washer feed which kept sett...

Re: My New POLO GT

Yes you can buy just the XLR unit on its own and it does not need configuring as the brain box will do that for the car. If you wanted this and say the GTS chip the price would be £349 for tuning box + £189 for the XLR throttle box. I don’t have one fitted but am looking to purchase after I get back...

Re: My New POLO GT

Hi Peter_dk
Just a quick one. Which BGT do you have the 140 or 150hp and is your DSG the DQ200?

Edit: Also how long have you currently had the unit fitted?
