RCD510 SD Compatibility

Hi guys just a quick one regarding the RCD510. I've read on some other VW forums that the RCD510 supports SD cards up to 2GB but it also supports SDHC cards up to 32GB. Can anyone vouch for it supporting up to 32GB SDHC memory card if I was to buy one an 8/16GB one?

Re: VW Genuine Accessories

Collecting the car at the end of the week mate, can't come soon enough! I'll post some pics up when I do, although, it's identical to yours :D I've found a local vw dealer that will fit the exhaust piece for £55, but i'm tempted to find something a bit bigger than 65mm or maybe find a twin pipe! :)

Re: 1.2 TSI Remap

Yeah, i'm gonna wait around for Revo too, I'd rather wait and have the reassurance my car isn't gonna end up bodged :) FR&R Tuning are offering remaps for £300.00, but there's no figures on their website. I emailed them last week but i'm yet to get a reply! I posted a link in a previous post on ...

Re: Refurbed Boavista Alloys

Just a quick one guys, do VW dealers do Alloy Wheel Refurbishment or do they normally outsource these sort of jobs to another company? I'm going for the Nimbus Grey coating as I don't need much convincing after looking at Benny Boys! :D

Re: VW Genuine Accessories

B1N9S, I know you previously mentioned a rear roof spoiler from the GTI, i've just seen one that's not a genuine VW part but appearance wise it's not far off what the GTI one looks like. I'll post the link anyway :)

Re: To buy or not to buy?

Hi mate,

If it's a choice only between the two models you've described then i'd go for white all the way with the panaramic sunroof

Yeah i'd have to agree tbh, looks good but is fairly standard issue now on white cars! Cheers for your opinions mate :)

Re: Refurbed Boavista Alloys

Thanks for your opinions lads :) Anthracite sounds very tempting but then i've just seen the Gun-metal TSW Nurburgring 18x8's on auspolo's TSI..

Your car looks amazing mate. The whole 'stealth' image of it looks incredible! As for the wheels... i'm drooling  Wouldn't suppose you've fitted the VW exhaust tip or is it an after market one?

Refurbed Boavista Alloys

Hi guys, I've read several posts on here about black Monza's looking a tad retarded on white polo GTI's. However, I'm considering getting my 17" Boavista Alloys refurbed into either a matte black or an anthracite finish. My polo is a 1.2 TSI SEL 3 door in Candy White. How do you think it would ...

Re: New Polo DRL's ?

That's strange then! There must be some sort of standard relating to the DRL's, it surely can't be random. I'll just wait and see when I pick mine up and if it is the dipped main beams i'll look into a vcds tweak!

Re: 1.2 TSI Remap

Hi mate,

If you don't mind me asking, how much was it for Revo to remap your GTI? I've found a few reliable places that are willing to remap my 1.2 TSI but they're all wanting £1k+

Re: New Polo DRL's ?

I think what you have seen is, as with mine, Polos driving in light position 0. The DRLs are right next to the fogs in the same cluster and can easily be mistaken for fog light. But they cast a very different beam... Are the all the DRL's in fog light cluster? I've seen plenty with the DRL's in the...
