Re: win or fail, new mods?
its a hard question to ask when people say how low are you, on coilovers, but id estimate, but looking at the arch gap, probably 50mm front and 60-70 rear, but thats a realistic guess, i get no rubbing at all with them as the offset is cool

Re: whats the best way to lower my 9n3
when i first lowered mine on coilovers, i only dropped it about 35mm and it was a little stiffer but not too stiff, but the more ive lowered it the stiffer its got, so id say if you dont want to lower it much then go for coilovers and just dont drop it much. but then again you could go for springs l...

Re: win or fail, new mods?
heres the best pics i have of them at the min, its hard because they dont really stand out much on the black paint, just when you look closely, probably gonna take the ones off the side as they are a little wonky. http://i265.photobucket.com/albums/ii215/bradmole/bradmole2647photography-2.jpg http:/...

Re: win or fail, new mods?
Not too keen on the pinstripes on the body mouldings or the grill surround...got a suggestion though- I reckon you could pull it off if you did it round the edge of the grille itself, like the GTi, but blue as opposed to red. Reminiscent of the Mk2 Golf G60 :) Ash :) yeah i was thinking instead of ...
