Most things in the UK are done by reg, not vin. You can check for recalls here. https://www.themotorombudsman.org/vehicle-recalls Invalid means that the region you are using doesn’t have your vin registered so it won’t search Have a look for some of the online parts catalogues similar to ETKA which ...

Fuel cut off has probably occurred. You may need it resetting with VCDS

You need to fit what the tyre rating label inside the fuel cap/drivers door opening says. Anything else can give your insurance a reason to be void. I have seen people fit the wrong speed rating, and their claims be invalidated.

It should be covered by the warranty, providing you havent got spark plugs worn out etc. Is it the 1.4TSI or the 1.8T block you have?

Sadly a lot of these parts departments are very unhelpful at most of the main dealers. It’s incredibly frustrating!

06L109257D has been replaced with 06L109257G - £68ish from the Dealer TPS.
