Re: POLO 6R. HEATED SEATS. OEM.
So I found a 2nd hand pair for one seat on ebay and ordered that, and found the back rest one for another seat on another site. The last one I found on a VAG parts website, but when they got the order in, they found that it was damaged, so had to refund me. I found a couple in Europe, but they won't...

I got the Focal Expert PS 165V1 for the front and Access 165ac for the rear. Did you use the tweeters in the rear? For the amp/sub I got a Pioneer TS-WX7-DA and have in below the split level shelf. It ads quite a bit of bass, but I now need to sound deaden the door cards!

Re: iichels Polo 6R 1.6TDI DSG --> OEM++ R-Line conversion
Update on the Polo Porsche brakes, all parts are painted, stickered, overhauled and ready to be mounted. Adapters are from Epytec I decided to take the rear brakes from the 'ZR17' set from Porsche for all axles, so 4-pots. There is an option to have 6-pots on the front axle too, but I think it's to...

Re: My Solution To White Worm Diamond Cut Alloys
I don't get why all the main car manufacturers seem to totally love diamond cut alloys and virtually all cars now have them even though they have known for many years that they are not durable or practical and will not stay looking very nice for very long!

Re: My new 2013 blue silk Blue GT
Hi Aquavalver, :D They certainly look good, seem ideal and very hygienic for adverse weather conditions. People would have to see the inhabitants on textile mats with a microscope to be aware of all the fauna that one transports everywhere. With the air conditioning/ventilation system and the passa...

Re: My new 2013 blue silk Blue GT
Right! I have 2 years of updates to do here! Hopefully I am able to ad photos now, which was stopped me doing new posts couple of years back! Back at end of November 2019 my Weathertech moulded floor mats arrived from Italy. Not cheap, but I think look very nice 180487B6-947A-41EE-8F28-E43182378866_...

Re: Instrument cluster
Hi Chrispy Can you help me with transfer data from toledo cluster to polo 6r? Hi Sven, I don't think he's coming back: "Last active:19 Nov 2019 14:44" I'll send you an address that is able to help you out... He actually still lists some things on ebay such as a Blue GTI interior that he's...

Re: No reverse or fog lights on new LED tail-lights
Did you buy them from Trade-Vehicle-Parts on eBay? They only give you a warranty for 30 days, bit surprising for "insurance approved"parts, and won't budge on that. I bought a set of tail lights from them and the reflector on one side has faded and is now a kind of pinky orange after 11 m...

Re: What would be the best brake pad and brake disc combo?
I currently have Brembo max discs which have a grooved pattern which helps you know when they need changing and they also have a protective coating. For the pads I have Black diamond which I find are good and low dust. For my new brakes I have Brembo Xtra (as they don't do the size I need for the re...

No reverse or fog lights on new LED tail-lights
I bought some LED tail-lights for my Blue GT around a year ago and they are meant to be for the 6R (it said Polo 2009-2014). I bought them in UK and it said they were insurance approved and didn't say anything about them being for LHD drive cars. I only just fitted them last Sunday due to waiting to...

Re: 6R BlueGT Spacers?
I will be, but haven't yet! I have bought a set of 4 cheap 3mm and 4x cheap 5mm spacers which I'll use to work out which size to go for by adding various ones to each other to make up the different sizes. I also have some 18 x 7.5" wheels for my summer wheels, so I will work out for those first...
