Re: What would you change about your Polo?

I think that all the parking sensors on the current generation of parking controller that VW Group have been using for maybe almost 10years are always active when stationary and stay active up to maybe 10KPH - or more. It took me a short time to become aware of that after driving my own car that ha...

Re: New 2018 Polo GTI faults

No significant faults on mine, the handbrake operation was a bit graunchy when applying it and they changed the handbrake cable out under warranty. I do have a couple of irritating trim buzzing and clicking issues that come and go which the dealer is taking a look at for me. The loan Polo I have has...

Re: Debating on 18" vs 17" & Sport Select

I have the 17" Wheels with the Standard Primacy 3s and Sports Select, as it's standard on UK spec cars. I haven't tried any other tyres or indeed 18" Brescias. My driving is 95% Commuting and I spend over two hours in the car each day, mainly on motorways so I find the relative compliance ...

Re: Oops just ordered a new GTi+

has rear camera, pre-crash, and blind spot monitoring which I didn't want but got a decent discount so not that bothered and am more than happy with the deal. I specced all three of those on my GTI+. I'm currently in a loan car and missing the rear camera, and blind spot monitoring more than I woul...

Re: New GTI + delivery

Anyway, I am probably getting far to carried away but was wandering if any of you lucky people that have already recieved your car ever received the stage 4 "build in progress status", I think from past experience on previous cars I have had through VW this step has a tendancy to skip and...

My Car is in for it's first oil service today. I mentioned the 'graunchy' handbrake operation, and they are replacing the handbrake cables under warranty.

Re: New GTI + delivery

I’ve been trying to work out the differences between the 2019 GTI (post WLTP) and the model delivered prior to Sept 2018. From what I’ve read, the new model has USB ports in the back and a totally redesigned exhaust system with a GPF (or ODF if you’re on the continent). The exhaust system has appar...

Re: Radio / infotainment screen replacement advice

That sucks. :(

I'm surprised that it's even worth anyone's while to steal an infotainment screen.

I can't offer any further advice other than get a quote from the dealers first which has already been said.

The picture makes me wonder where the Passenger airbag is located? :?:
