cheers for the reply Del, didint really get to the root of the problem, it just went away after some driving lol.
i think it maybe was some dirty or somthing stuck in the brakes that caused it.

another abs problem in the polo
jus started the car with jump leads as i havent driven it for ages and the handbrake light is flashing together with the abs light staying constantly.
On startup there is a long beep aswell which is kinda of scary, anyone had this before or knows wot it could be

Ignition switch failed on mine. Caused intermittent startup problems where I'd turn the key and 'nout would happen, just silence, it wasn't even trying to start, no noise at all.
