i programmed my mate's 9n3 which doesn't have an alarm fitted. it doesn't beep but it does flash indicators and the autolock feature also works.

Went to my local VW Dealer. He said because my 1.4tdi was not high performance as the pd130 i did not need pd oil (VW 505 01) and suggested a different type (VW 505 00). As i was only topping up about 1 litre i didnt mind too much. But i am due a full oil change next month should i use PD oil anywa...

EGR is exhaust gas recirculation system, it basically sends a fraction of the exhaust gases into the intake to control emissions. CCV is crank case ventilation system, where the oil vapors are sent back to the air intake.

As I recently have aquired a taste for spraying I thought Id get on with colour coding the front and rear bump strips on my 9N to match the Votex Kit which I have just done. No Idea where should the original wiring be located?? Thanks Tony I believe if you don't have the boot light but you have the wiring there it must be on the right side of the boot, next to the right seat belt tensioner housing. If it is not there, you may have to explore a source which is switched ...
