thanks a lot for the response - he just made me doubt wether what i was doing was a good idea.

and as you suspected, no chassis tuning qualifications as far as i know.

is upgrading the brakes a bad idea?

i have been considering the 280mm G60 brake upgrade, but someone i work with said it would be a crazy thing to do without upgrading other components such as wheel bearings etc as the added stopping power will take the car's components beyone what they were designed for - i hadn't considered this bef...

did a search, and tigz says in one post that You have to fit some small spacers to the wheel hubs as the calliper fowls the wheel slightly. Nothing major though, only a few quid and will help pull the wheels out to give a sweeter look. so now i'm worried, i didnt think it required any mods and just ...

hi guys,

one of my headlght protectors got shattered by a stone on the motorway this weekend, thankful i had em!!

anyone know the part number for them? i always find it easier to go to vw with it

car looks beautiful - with the xenons, how'd you get the washers looking so neat in the bumper? cos they dont offer xenons from vw yet do they?

yeh i know that they look dates in comparison with the new models on the market, but i like the way it would fit into the car's interior, just a case of money i suppose, what happens with gps, does it need a seperate aerial?

have any f you guys fitted the VW sat nav? i'm very tempted as i think it'll just look as cool as fook

anyone got any opinions from having one or pics?

i know you're supposed to buy the version G one as opposed to the version D one.

do any of you guys know the best place to buy one?
