There is an interesting read here from Briskoda where puddle lights have been fitted to a Fabia. It looks like a clean install too :D

Re: Tightening the Handbrake

How far does the handbrake travel before it bites and holds the car? One thing to remember when parking on hills is to depress the brake pedal fully and then apply the handbrake. I know it doesn't sound nice but you shouldn't press the button on the handbrake when pulling it up as it can cause it to...

Re: Trunk mat....

The flexible boot liner is rubbish, I have one. You would be better off spending your money on the semi-rigid one.

**For sale - 16" Rivazza alloys

I have a set of 16" Rivazza alloy wheels for sale which have been taken off my current 6C SEL (covered around 3K miles) - the wheels come with all match Bridgestone Turanza tyres, again these have only covered around 3K miles and have around 7mm of tread left. All wheels are as new and unmarked...

**For sale - 17" Boavista alloys

Hi all, I have a set of 17" Boavista alloys (without tyres) for sale which were removed from my 6R in January. They are in good condition with a couple of small kerbing marks. I have just put a set of BlueGT alloys on my car otherwise the Boavistas would've gone on, they completely transform th...

Re: Sluggish performance

FYI the ECU's 'learn' and adapt to the way you drive... If you've been driving around like miss daisy since you got it, the ECU power band may have become more linear so you don't get that big wack of power you did before. My cousin has this in his 330D, he 'resets' his ECU everyonce in a while by p...

Re: Paddle shift broken.

... I don't see how you could have stopped the paddle shifter from working by sticking an extension onto the paddshift (double sided taped I presume?) book the car in for a warranty repair

Try a hard reboot by press and holding the power button on the headunit until the Volkswagen splash screen appears :)

Bluetooth problems

Hi - delete the Bluetooth profile from the car and delete the Bluetooth profile from your iPhone. Then on your iPhone go to settings -> general -> reset and click on Reset all settings and re-pair your phone up to your car. This should resolve the connectivity issues you're having, it appears to be ...

Re: 6C auto door locking

Thanks for this - have you managed to complete any other tweaks with VCDS - I've read that Ross-tech haven't fully managed to get the control modules working on the 6C

Re: 6C auto door locking

I've spoken to both my supplying dealer (Inchcape Stockport) and my local dealer (Inchcape Oldham) who have both advised the same thing. Their techs are having issues enabling the anti-hijack feature on the 6C's and it has gotten to the point where VWUK are in contact with VW Germany to find out why...

Re: Polo 6C - Phone holder

Ended up getting a Kenu Airframe to clip into the central air vents. Hopefully it does the job, seems a nice little bit of kit. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Kenu-Airframe-Portable-Car-Mount-Black/dp/B00D901B4W/ref=pd_sxp_grid_pt_1_2 Hello! Are you satisfied with the Kenu holder? I am looking for exactly...

Re: Anyone currently waiting on a 6C factory order?

(dealer forgot to add xenons when placing the order with the factory). What was wrong with the original? Keep up there, HIDs were specified by customer, dealer forgot to include that! Oh right, but how does he have the original messed up order to sell? The dealer forgot to add Xenon's when they pla...
