Re: Instrument Cluster swap, need information

You can have the amarok cluster but you need to change some parameters in the eeprom like fuel tank size and wheel circumference. Also no power steering warning light. You can have a polo gti/GT cluster but these don't have a coil light and dpf light. You can have a seat Toledo TDI cluster which do...

Re: Urgent Advice Needed for Wiper Issues

If you are going to replace the stalks you have to remove the airbag, steering and slip ring. The stalks are on both sides are one unit afaik. Do you have a 6R or a 6C Polo? If you have a 6C, I have seen this guide on how to open and clean up the contacts for the wiper blade stalks. https://youtu.be...

Re: ESP/ABS 8.2i long coding

I have never used it but there is this program to calculate the ABS coding. https://skodapilot.com/espcalculator-bosch/ For the car radio, if you put back your original cluster it should automatically fix it self after start driving (at least it did in my car on the factory fitted radio). The PIN co...

Re: VW Sat nav headunits

@iichel is there a specific version of BCM that is required with Discover Media for PQ?

Can the head unit have the functionality your described, with a BCM high for example?

Re: POLO 6R Multifunction display

In order to provide the inputs signals to control the MFD, you need the cables on these terminals T32/22, T32/21, T32/23. On cars that have MFSW with buttons on the right side and no trip computer buttons on the wiper stalk, how does it work? https://www.team-bhp.com/forum/attachments/diy-do-yoursel...

Re: Exantas Skoda Fabia 5J 1.2 TSI

I am planning to retrofit Cruise Control in my car and I need to upgrade my 6R7937086F BCM Is there an advantage/disadvantage to go for a 7H0937090D BCM instead of 6R7937087P if I can find them in similar price? I don't have any plans for auto lights or direct TPMS. I only want to do CC and MFSW ret...

Re: Polo by Davitio 1.6 TDI 90HP DSG

Hello, Nice job with the new cluster. It looks great. Now the question is, the thirty position, is it for turn signals leds also? One irrelevant question. I am also in the process of swapping my IC in my car (pq25 platform car) . Still fighting some issues though. I have a question in case you notic...

Re: Exantas Skoda Fabia 5J 1.2 TSI

For the power cable I plan to use a terminal like this and get power from the fuse that is assigned for MFSW. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F264106825810 Now the slot is already populated, and I think it is a more practical way, than soldering down...
