could be a loose plug as above, maybe re-new them all and consider a new lead too?

not sure what is causing the issue

m8, its a "TORX" type you need, I think its size 10 or 15 that fits.

I've got a large screwdriver bit set and its in there. Common size.

I will check size in morning for you, if your still stuck with it?

I had to wait a long time for a car too once, annoying, but in the end I used that car real good, bringing it back at closing time :D :wink: 06 plate with 2000 miles, when the window steamed up, I could see the import/delivery sticker impression ghost onto the windscreen, was fun driving it around 8)

100% covers the detailing of removing this part and the rest of the interior and virtually much of the GTi too, as is based on the 6n2 model

Its defo handy to have, GTi or not

dust your car Si! :shock: You will need to remove the top and bottom half plastic pieces that cover the steering column... screws can be seen on the bottom half to undo - have a look on the underside Split them apart and the clip that back in place on the top cover... then replace it back and you sh...
