More outage and issues

Post by Josh_PoloGTi »

Sorry guys...

The hosting company I use migrated my "server" to another machine yesterday, however it appears it wasn't set up correctly as I couldn't access anything on it.

Once this was resolved, the forum was accessible, but there had been an issue migrating the database which caused us to be unable to post anything on the forum... So at the moment we're back on the previous server which is working OK!

Hopefully when they try moving us again, it'll be seamless!!

The reason (for any techie nerds out there) for the move is that the server was getting too many MySQL requests which was causing some disruption.

Fingers crossed we'll stay up and running with no disruption going forward!

Thanks for your patience!

Best Regards

Josh

I did wonder why this and newportedition site were both down. Glad it's working for the minute!

At least it's being attended too, & will make the site more stable going forward!
