How to install RClick Remote Central Locking Kits (6n2)

Post by red6n2 »

Same mate I recommend them very highly !.

Sometimes it can take 5 mins for my pump to stop after locking but that's a pump issue nothing to do with the kit itself !.

Hi, has anyone fitted an rclick remote central locking kit to a 9n Polo.
I've got a 2003 9n and have just bought a remote locking kit.
Any help would be awesome.

hi, bit of thread resurrection, but thought it would be easier posting in here than making new thread...

anyway, i have a w reg polo 6n2 tdi se with what i think is a vacuum central locking pump? i bought the £30 right click kit off their site and wired it as instructions in the first pump and the right click box makes noises when key fob is pressed but nothing at the pump or the locks? was wondering if anyone can post a picture of their completed setup? can it definitely all be ran through the pump loom or does at least one wire have to go through driver's door as per instructions?

many thanks :)

As long as you install it exactly as this guide states, it will work perfectly

Check the guide against what you've installed

if one of my locks are iffy would that affect it? driver's side has a problem in particular, and the car will not unlock when pressing the button in the car but will lock. hmm, i will take a picture later to show that it is all as it says in the first post.

It could well be. Check water hasnt got into the pump in the boot. There may be a problem inside it.

Hi there. Just purchased a 2001 Polo Mk3 facelift 6n2. It has keyed central locking, which works fine. but Ive been looking at the rightclick stuff for wireless entry, but rather than splicing wires about i was looking at the plug and play harness for £15. It states it works with 6N, does anyone know if the 6N is the same as the 6n2 central locking system? I have asked rightclick but no response yet.

With Thanks

Hi Guys

I see Alex you have discussed the fitment of the Rclick aftermarket remote locking devices to a variety of Polos...

I have just changed my Polo again for a 53 1.4 Tdi and want to install the Rclick remote control module.

My last POLO (Petrol) was a 9n Polo and I'm now having difficulty locating the correct lock / unlock wire in the driver to sill wiring loom - last Polo was thin innocent blue & white

I have joined the lock and unlock together with the 1k Ohm resistor in place, the yellow , yellow and black are attached to earth as guide suggests.

The wiring loom in the drivers door to sill appears completely different....?

I cant seem to attach an image of the current Wiring loom :(

Your is Help appreciated

Thanks

Iain

There are some variances on the 9n3 wiring. You may need to look in a different place to find the wire you need.
