Bought a pair of these in the name of science:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/272495334029
They fit, but the back cover is almost up against the cooling fan, and what use is a cooling fan inside a small plastic box anyway?
They look bright and draw half the current which begs the question how do they work out 200W?
Anyone had any experience with these?

Re: "6th Gen" LED headlight bulbs
The fan is just to circulate the air as the drivers get very hot
Ideally, you should make some holes behind where the fan is for air to circulate
Its 'equivalent' wattage
Whats the beam pattern like?

Re: "6th Gen" LED headlight bulbs
Equivalent wattage or smoke & mirrors?
Yeah I might holesaw through the back covers then if no longer required gaffer tape them over again.
Haven't driven far in the dark yet but the beam pattern looks OK at the mo.
My higher question is does LED intensity necessarily mean greater night time vision for the human eye?

Nope, coming out, radio interference.
