Hi all 1st post on this forum just bought my fiancee a little 1.0l polo for her bday, hoping I'm posting in the right place, had a few issues I've fixed with the car including the dreaded miss fire, got a couple of fault codes come up on my diagnostic machine. (Pictured below) I know these 2 faults are to do with the dodgy lambda sensor, just wondering how many does the 1.0l mpi have a pre and post cat or just the one in the down pipe? And if there is 2 which is the most common to go faulty? Cheers.

Re: Lambda sensor question 1.0l polo 6n
They have two, one pre and one post
The one that normally fails is the precat. This can be due to failure of the sensor, or broken wiring between the engine loom and the sensor plug on the front of the gearbox.

Check the wiring first - its much cheaper!
