Keyless entry

Post by DatPoloGuy »

Hi all,

I'm in need of some help to do with wiring up my eBay keyless entry system. I've been trying to read up on this and find wiring diagrams but honestly I can't find anything! I have a Polo 6n2 2000 3DR and it's been the hardest thing so far to find on the internet, the pictures included are the kit I have and what I've attempted, so far no luck.

Basically I've tried to connect it to the plug for the lock and unlock button under the door card which didn't work and I read on a different forum that you have to connect it to the air box in the boot and I tried it and still no luck, it's because I literally don't know what the colours mean on my car, I tried looking at the Haynes manual and it says nothing at all so yeah please help!

Be sure to tape all those cables up you spliced to so they are reinsulated

I have found the rclick link to the wiring diagrams but it doesn't tell me which colour wires to connect them to in my car.

So I've connected all the wires it's told me so far and only the unlock button works but here it say 'On The RCL Unit' and I don't have the black/green on my driver side.

Now when I lock my door with the key my central locking has stopped working even when I disconnect everything? But when I go to unlock it my central locking works?
