INCORRECT FUEL GAUGE

Hi,i face a problem with the fuel gauge reading high.Not dangerouw but disturbing.When the needle touches the first red line the car stops ! Out of fuel ! Is there a way to readjust this? :(

You might need to remove the sender from the tank and clean it’s tracks. They can get dirty which causes it to read wrong. It’s accessed from under the rear seat
