Hope I'm in the right place.
I have a year 2000 X reg Polo estate. From what I understand, it's a bit of an odd ball. It's on the verge of being sent to the scrap heap but I really don't want to do that. I am in need of a right front wing and both window regulators just for starters. What I am wondering is whether there are any other models that have parts that would fit. Perhaps I could buy 2 complete doors off a different model that would fit?

Welcome.
I'm not too sure about this, and some photos should help, but I believe the Polo estate is based on the 6N, and therefore the front wings from that model will fit and the 6N2 as well, though there is a difference between the standard vs GTi/Tdi models.
The door switches on the 6N2 fail and are available new. Put a photo up and you'll get more help but at least tell us if the window switch is in the door (6N2 style) or the dash (6N style). Note however that faults also occur in the loom between the door and the A post, so just a loom repair needed
