3 points on a SP40 rocketed my premium by about £700 on my valver :x and no I wasn't speeding in my car; running late at work in the van hitting 60 in a 50.

I've had some points on my license for longer than 3 years, will the points still be printed on the license for ever? or can I send it off to get a revised one with the points taken off?

EDIT: It's ok I looked it up, after 3 years they don't count towards the totting up of points but you can't get them removed till 4 years after the offence.
but apparently you need to declare the offence to insurers for up to 5 years!! after the offence! ridiculous.

the points wont increase your current premium. it will only have an affect when it comes to renew your policy.
