Hey up - now then, where's Doug / Dan / Si / Alex P etc?

Probably don't remember me I've been away for years!

Sounds good mate! Nah i'm not back in the Polo scene...but who knows, as i've just put my mk5 golf GTi up for sale and want something a bit cheaper! Maybe a 9N or something could be on the cards.

If you know anyone mate, here's my ad:

I want to get rid this month if possible!

Can I count as old school given that, as of 8 days time, I'll have been a member on here for a decade?!

To celebrate, I've just left a deposit on a brand new 6R R-Line. :D

I realised today that I've not been on here for 2 months, and I'm meant to be running the place

Thanks to Alex and the rest of the moderator team for keeping the place going.

I must spend some more time on here!

Can't believe this forum has been going for over 10 years now 8)

Alright guys, still wander in and out of here once in a while. Glad to see some familiar faces do the same and some are still active! Wow my post count looks insignificant compared to yours Alex haha!

I still drop by very occasionally.

I still own my 9n. It's a little scraped here and there but i'll sort that one day.

I meddle with Mk3 Golf's and use a motorbike for most of my travelling these days.

Morning all :D

I haven't been on here in aaaaaages! Good to see a few names from the past though!!

After owning the Polo for over 8 years I sold it and bought a tuned (exhaust, airbox, suspension and pulley kit) 2002 Mini Cooper S supercharged. It was a real riot to drive but was also a real lemon and kept breaking... whilst I had the car I met my now wife Amy and moved from Shrewsbury to Wrexham and the Mini had to go due to an £80 a week fuel habit! I now drive a 2005 Skoda Fabia vRS and it never breaks down 8)

Oh yeah and I got married and we have a 3-month old baby girl  :D

That's great news, congratulations Si.

I still keep checking in here every so often. Just ordered a new 6C Polo GTI, so I guess I'll be popping back more frequently!
