Geometry

Post by mole »

While passing a place today, Hi Q or something, I thought i'd pop in and ask them if they can do the geom, or know someone locally that can.
He didn't know what I was talking about when I mentioned geometry, then when I explained what I wanted, he said that only dealers can do it.

Is this true or was he having me on?

hes yanking your chain ask for it by other names like alinment or just say that the insides of your tyres are wearing faster than the outside but if push comes to shove then you may have to go to the dealers who may flat out refuse you because you are too low and they dont like that because its harder to align a low car and if they dont do it right first time then they have to do it a second time under guarentee which means that the ramp is occupied for a job which they are not making profit on. another place to try would be to ask a garage that specialises in aciident repairs as after a car has bee in a structural shock then it must be realigned otherwise maybe a local ripspeed as if they sell the lowering kits then i imagine that some of the larger centres may also do the alignment
