GTi: Throttle Body Cleaning Not Working

Post by Scream »

Hi guys. Got a 6n2 GTi and I had the juddering problem. Gave the throttle body a clean on Saturday and it was filthy. It worked a treat until yesterday when the problem started again. Car keeps juddering around 1000-1500 revs before picking up speed again. Anyone know what might be causing it? I had a look at the throttle body again today and it was fairly clean. Pretty stumped as to what might be causing the juddering.

I had a juddering problem and it was driving me insane trying to figure out what it was...

I then decided to get a VAG cable and narrowed it down to my lambda sensor having a short to ground connection, after clearing this there was no judder at all :D

Basically, it can be a number of things but a VAG cable can help you narrow it down.
