Newbie so sorry if this is answered elsewhere.
My car has been sat for a few months and yesterday the RAC replaced the battery. As part of their roadside attendance they also checked a few other things oil and water included.
Took the car out for a trip and as I got back to the house the temp warning light came on.
Is this to be expected when a car has been off road for a little while?

Not normally
Might have a faulty coolant bottle sensor - these are quite prone to failure
