6r mayan blue machine polishing

Post by MayanBMT »

The new daily is to get a bit of love, so i've decontaminated the paint, next step is to clay, then polish before a ceramic coating.

I'm looking at getting a DA to get rid of the heavy swirls but i have no idea on the hardness of the paint, i know VW in general have harder paint but with this (i think) being single stage paint i want to be careful.

Does anyone have any recommendations for compounds and pads for this paint?

No not tried it yet, i was just guessing based on a couple of stone chips, it could well be lacquered though.

Anyway, i skipped the polishing stage and went straight to ceramic coating, carpro cquartz lite.
