UK Legal Pressed Plates

Post by N3_OLP »

As most of you probably know Dubmeister are now sell road legal pressed plates!

Fortunatly for me I know the person who is running it and it’s about 100 metres from my new house! I have already got a set (mates rates n all) but was wondering if anyone on here needed a set and I can see if I can get a group buy going? If there is enough interest i will pay my friend a visit and see what kind of deal I can get.

Let me know if you’re interested!

It has subtle laser marked supplier name and postcode to comply with regulations. And yes you have to the GB unless you want show plates. See http://www.dubmeister.co.uk/newPlates.php.

Edit: Actually on thinking it'll be too long to wait before any group buy goes ahead and i want some in the next couple of weeks so think i'll go down and pick them up.

You don't have to have the GB band on?

I'd be interested but how will a Group Buy work if you all have to provide details?

Also moved this thread to the correct section

Just picked up mine today, look pretty sweet. What's the best way to attach them?

And no you don't have to have the GB on, although i do think it looks better! Will get some photos up when i've done mine.

I didnt like the number plate frames so i stuck mine on with doubled sided number plate tap! Personally i think this is the best way to hold them on, but each to their own!

I guess they'd have to have a list of people for the group buy then you'd either need to pop in with your v5 and driving license or post them.

I bought some double-sided number plate tape from halfords, works fine!

i've had the halfords stuff fail on me before.

i'd recommend B&Q foam tape MUCH more!

what would be the price on this group buy then?
