9N Dodgy One Touch feature on E.Windows

Post by Wai_Mak »

Ive noticed when you disconnect the Battery, your car seems to lose this function and regains it slowly after driving for a few weeks. :(

Left side regains its ability then Right side. :? :( :?:

I just disconnected the Battery yesterday and Ive lost it for the second time. :x

Does anyone know how I can adjust this feature without the hassle of going to a dealership or waiting another few extra weeks?

Thanks

Wai_Mak.

When you disconnect the battery, you lose the One Touch setting - as you have found out.... there are two ways to get it back. One is via the dealer who will reprogram the convenience module, and the other is by playing with the switches! I think this is why yours has all of a sudden come back, not on it's own, but because you pressed the buttons in the right order to switch it back on - does all that make sense?

I would be very suprised if it just decided to swtich itself back on for no reason!

I have got it written down somewhere.... Let me find it.

Same thing happened to me, but it righted itself after an hour or so.

So the car does eventually sort itself out.
