Help with electrical connections on 6N2 1.4TDi

Post by pwafer »

Hi,

Just bought a bluetooth handsfree car kit (Motorola HFW8000) and would like some help please. Pretty confident at installing it, but does anyone have a Haynes/TechCD with details/colours/diagram of a few connections ?

Just want the best places to pick up the following connections:

12v Permament Feed
12v Switched/Ignition On
0v Ground
??? Radio Mute

I have a standard VW radio cassette with the in-dash CD changer below.

Only other thing is some help on how to take the A-Pillar trim off so I can feed the MIC up.

Thanks

Paul

Depends on where you are placing the control box, I'd say best place would be up in below dash on P/s?? You could take radio out and take a tap off all those connections, as the stereo has them all, but add the fuse on the permanent live

As for A pillar it'll probably just be clips holding it in

Yeah... thanks. Probably will just pull the radio out and pick the connections off the radio loom.

Cheers mate

Paul.
