Polo 2002 5 Dr central locking and alarm problem.

Hi

Could someone please offer some sound advice.

I have a Polo 1.4 2002 (9NZ) and the alarm was sounding for no reason and at random times.

I tried to use VAG COM to diagnos this problem and noticed that the N/S/R door was unlocked and shouldn't be!

After working the central locking several times i noticed that when I pressed the unlock button on the Fob once, only the drivers door should unlock but the N/S/R door unlocks as well, pressing the button twice - all doors and tailgate unlock fine.

Occasionally when I lock the car, the N/S/R door locks and then unlocks and thats when the alarm randomly goes off. If I make sure that all doors lock and stay locked with one press of the Fob, the alarm and all systems are ok.

Does anyone have an idea what's causing the N/S/R door to unlock/lock out of sync?
